Corian® Solid Surface does NOT contain Quartz or Crystalline Silica
Further to the recent media reports and government workplace health and safety warnings* about Silicosis and the terrible health impacts on those people who have been exposed to the Crystalline Silica dust contained in Quartz based Engineered Stone products, we have received many questions about whether Corian® Solid Surface contains any Quartz or Crystalline Silica.
We can confirm that Quartz or Crystalline Silica is NOT used in the manufacture of Corian® Solid Surface. To obtain our most current Technical Bulletin for the composition of Corian® Solid Surface, please download here.
